Ok, here we go…
What is your limiting factor(s) holding you back from getting to where you want to be? I talk to so many people that are Soooo motivated to make a change, but they just can’t take that next step, or they just lose the drive over time. This is unbelievably disheartening to me, because I know they need to make a change RIGHT NOW before they just fall into a massive hole they can’t come out of.
I know you are not happy, I know you want to flip the switch, but WHAT IS THE DEAL? Why can’t you?
Don’t worry, you are not alone.
So, what is your limiting factor holding you back from happiness? This could be for any aspect of your life, but we will go with weight loss.
I eat out a lot?
I am addicted to sugar?
I don’t have money for a gym membership?
I don’t know what to eat?
I don’t have the time?
My circle of friends are holding me back? (Think about this one. Surround yourself with positive people.)
Write it down.
Now, pick your main limiting factor and circle it.
You have your #1 and now we need to understand the “why” and “how” we can fix the problem
For example, I don’t have the time to exercise or eat right. What do we do?
We find time!
How do we do this? We make a plan. How can you find time?
For example, if driving to and from a gym is costing you 30 minutes of total time lost then workout at home. Buy some equipment or a DVD and schedule time every week to get your workout in.
Don’t have time to make healthy food? You have some options. Meal prepping is the typical solution. Once or twice a week take a couple hours to cook for the week. Or, you could find a meal prepping company that will deliver breakfast, lunch and dinner to your house or local gym.
Once you get the hang of your limiting factor, go back to your list and knock out the next one, and the next one, and so on.
List the LIMITING FACTOR, the WHY, and HOW you will fix the problem.
