Good Morning and Happy Meatless Monday, and the eve of Meatless Tuesday.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We are in the holiday season now and guess what? Shopping? Yes, but looks like onsite shopping has been replaced with Internet shopping, judging from the sparse crowds on Black Friday.

Welcome to Cyber-Monday. Guess what else? Between now and the New Year, most of us gain about 10lbs from all the good holiday food. All the more reason to ease up on Mondays and Tuesdays.

I have a thought. The next 6 Mondays and Tuesdays do not fall on any holiday. Not Christmas Eve or day, nor New Years Eve or day. That includes this week going all the way to January 4 and 5.

How about making an early New Years resolution and make the next 6 Monday-Tuesday combinations meatless, whole food plant based…and while your at it…also avoid bread, pasta, pizza, potatoes, French fries, rice, sweets, and sodas on those days.

You do that and you may find yourself weighing the same come January as you weigh now. And you don’t need to starve yourself! Give it a try.
