Is your job your treadmill?

If it is…you are lucky! I consider myself lucky being always on the move at work, always moving within my office from room to room, and then to labor and delivery, as well as to the operating room.

Movement is good and doesn’t always have to be in a gym. The five blue zones that I have mentioned in previous posts, people there don’t go to gyms. In Okinawa, Japan, for example, people bend and stoop in their gardens! Everything counts.

Now…if you have a sedentary job, that does not require much movement, use the steps instead of the elevator, or park as far away as possible and walk the rest.
